Thanksgiving Decor On A Budget

We are thrifty, because we like to save our money for wine.

These are our tips for decorating this Fall/Thanksgiving that will leave your pad looking fab, and your wallet looking fat! Oh and 95% of these materials can be found at the Dollar Store!!

  1. Tri-Color Mason Jars Centerpieces. Use any mason jars, glass bowls, or even empty jam jars and fill with dried beans, and corn kernels. Pick Fall colors like browns, greens, and golden yellows. Have fun with it! These would look great on a dining room table, mantle, or shelves.

2. Pillar Candles and faux Fall foliage from the dollar tree can add a touch of elegance to any room! Again, keep the Fall colors theme going.

3. DIY Pinecone Place Cards. Hosting a Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving? You can pick real pinecones or buy them at your local dollar tree/grocery store. Add a pretty tag and some string, and you have yourself a unique, earthy decor that will totally impress your guests.

4. Kids Craft Pilgrims. You gotta start saving your tp rolls, NOW. Use old toilet paper rolls, construction paper, glue, googly eyes, and any other craft supply you want to make cute little pilgrims (or a turkey) for Thanksgiving. These are fun and a great project to do with your kids! And, AGAIN- Everything can be purchased at the Dollar store!
